WAKE FOREST, N.C. -
Kids in Wake Forest got decked out in their best red, white, and blue for a parade all their own.
The Children's Parade took over North Main Street Friday morning, as part of the town's Independence Day celebrations.
Children, their parents, and even their pets, put on patriotic gear and decorated their bikes, strollers, scooters, and wagons for the annual event.
Wake Forest firefighters, Uncle Sam, and Lady Liberty led the parade through the historic neighborhood.
