WAKE FOREST, N.C. -

Thousands of people filled Trentini Stadium at Wake Forest-Rolesville High School Thursday for the town's Independence Day Celebration.

Before the sun set, families danced to music of the 'Band of Oz' and munched on snow-cones.

At dusk the stadium echoed with cheers, as four parachutists came breezing in to the field to kick off an evening of fireworks.
