The Anthony J. Trentini Foundation was established in 1980 by his former students to honor his memory.
The Trentini sholarship nominees are the elite at Wake Forest-Rolesville High School. They undergo scrunity and interviews by Principals, Teachers and the Trentini Board selection committee. They have attained academic excellence, athleticism and are leaders in the community. One is chosen to receive a $30,000 scholarship. All six receive $1,000. A Community College scholarship of $2,000 renewable for a 2nd year is awarded to a 7th student. These young people are the elite and we can’t say enough great things about them.
The Trentini Foundation this year awarded $10,000 in grants to area teachers and $6500 to the Saturday School project at WF-R HS.
Thank you to the Foundation for the generous contributions to education of our young people.
