Wake Forest 4th of July Celebration

July 3rd Spectacular Show at the Wake Forest Rolesville HS Stadium

Gates open at 5:30

5:30pm Bull City Garage Band

6:00pm Friendship Chapel Choir

6:30pm Band of Oz

7:30pm Don Carrington’s Sky Divers

7:45pm Band of Oz

Dusk – Spectacular Fire works show – 30 minutes of the best fireworks anywhere around

A Moon bounce and other activities for children until the fireworks start.

Concessions include Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sausage Dogs, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, Pop Corn, Sno Cones, Nachos Funnel Cakes and soft drinks.

Admission $5.00 person Children under 6 are Free.

Presale Tickets available at The Wake Weekly, Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce, Wake Forest Healthclub, NC Specialty Shop, All About Hair & Nails & Premier Videos. Presale price – 5 ticket packets for $20.00 or $5.00 each

Parking will be available on the school and the seminary campuses.

July 4th – All activities are free

Children’s Walking Parade

Line up at 10 am at the intersection of North Main and Juniper Streets.

(Approximately 1500 children participated last year)

Everyone heads to Holding Park for Art-In-The-Park and Games-In-The-Park

Activities at the Park & inside the Community House include:

Decorating cupcakes & cookies with red, white & blue frosting

Painting & decorating Sun-visors

Painting & decorating Door Knob Hangars

Making medallion necklaces

Making & decorating Pin Wheels

Face Painting

Make Thumb print creatures

Child Identification by Wake Forest Police Department

Activities outside in the Park include:

Watermelon seed spitting contest

Sack races

Tug of War game

Paint the Town

Moon Bounce

Lots of other games and prizes
