Helping pets one cup at a time

Credit: AP Online
WAKE FOREST, N.C. -

A very special young lady gave the pets for adoption at Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital Rescue a present on her half birthday. Mackenzie operated a lemonade stand and earned over $50 which she donated to the rescue. Her family believes in giving back to the community on half birthdays and she chose to host a lemonade stand to benefit the pets. The money she raised immediately went to help defer the cost for Sheriff's heartworm treatment. Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital Rescue appreciates her generosity. For more information on the rescue or to see the pets for adoption go to mmahrescue.org.

Thank You for helping us one cup at a time.
